Hi! I’m Christina. Especially since the pandemic, I’ve seen how much gets invested into generating clicks and perfecting addictive algorithms, and how little has been invested in solving everyday problems for those who need them most. While I can’t change the landscape of the tech industry, I have a great passion for putting my newfound skills at the service of human flourishing. Ever a teacher, (and even a bit of a scientist), I’d love to work closely with those revolutionizing the EdTech landscape and making necessary changes to our broken healthcare system.

From teaching highschool Spanish to copywriting to e-commerce – my professional journeg has equipped me with many indispensable UX-oriented tools. Teaching high schoolers required a UX approach - you can craft what you think is the coolest lesson, but if it’s not based on student needs and desires, then prepare for disengagement and disappointment! Copywriting, like teaching, also requires creativity, but without the discipline to stay within the scope of the project, it can devolve into something self-indulgent, that doesn’t truly x with the consumer.
UX and UI design first captured my attention when my former-copywriter sister snagged a UX role. I was instantly intrigued by role in making products intuitive, as well as the possibility of enhancing established apps with new features. Beyond the actual UX skill set of orchestrating effective investigations into user needs, the enduring appeal of UX is the ability to solve important problems for people and groups I care about.
